Do Insects Bug You?

Doesn’t it seem that little kids are completely fearless when it comes to insects? Many of them pick them up and inspect them, while the rest of us scream and get as far away as possible… or maybe that’s just me.

It doesn’t matter if a child shouts a critter’s name out of fascination or out of terror, knowing the right word to shout is important. The following resources help infest young minds with insect vocabulary:

Fruits and Veggies

Here are some ideas on how to teach the names of fruits and vegetables to young children. I used these resources this past year when I taught English to preschoolers in Spain.
